And in last place for this year's Stoker awards is COFFIN COUNTY. Simply put, I did not like this book. Some of the concepts are interesting - a haunted town history and travelogue, Judas as the agent to stave off Armageddon - but the book shifts between these elements without really explaining where it is going and ends up in my least favorite place - serial killers with warrants from God. This book just didn't work for me and I'll leave it at that.
